Good News!
There is a God, creator of the material universe.
John 1:1-3
1 In the beginning the Word (Jesus) already existed.
The Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 He existed in the beginning with God.
3 God created everything through him,
and nothing was created except through him.
We are separated from God because of sin and unbelief.
Romans 3:23
23 For everyone has sinned; we all fall short
of God’s glorious standard.
Romans 6:23
23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God
is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.
Good News! God loves you! Jesus’ death on the cross paid the penalty for our sin. He rose from the dead proving God’s power to give us new life. Because of this you can have a relationship with God.
John 3:16
16 “For this is how God loved the world:
He gave his one and only Son,
so that everyone who believes in him
will not perish but have eternal life.
Romans 5:8-11
8 But God showed his great love for us
by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.
9 And since we have been made right in God’s sight
by the blood of Christ, he will certainly save us
from God’s condemnation. 10 For since our friendship
with God was restored by the death of his Son
while we were still his enemies, we will certainly
be saved through the life of his Son. 11 So now we can
rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God
because our Lord Jesus Christ has made us friends of God.
To have a relationship with God you must put your complete faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior.
Romans 10:9-11
9 If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved. 11 As the Scriptures tell us, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.”
